Dr Ahmed Aboelneil is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. He graduated from Ain Shams University, Cairo, in 2007, where he also completed his postgraduate anaesthetic training and obtained both a Master’s degree in Anaesthetics and a Doctorate (MD/PhD) in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. He subsequently worked there as an Assistant Professor, combining clinical work in cardiothoracic anaesthesia with teaching and research, and remains academically affiliated with the university.

Dr Aboelneil achieved the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (EDAIC) in 2017 and relocated to the United Kingdom in 2020. He joined Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and was appointed as a Consultant Anaesthetist in 2023, joining the GMC Specialist Register in 2024.

His professional interests include obstetric and regional anaesthesia, as well as anaesthesia for major surgical procedures. He completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia from the University of East Anglia in September 2025 and continues to pursue academic and clinical excellence within the field.
