Dr John Batty graduated with an MBBS from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry and also holds a Master’s degree in Medical Engineering from the University of London. He undertook his anaesthetic training in the South East and East of England during which he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA).

Dr Batty became a Consultant at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 2025. He holds private practising privileges at Wells Health and Nuffield Health (Tunbridge Wells) where he provides anaesthetic services for adult patients having all types of surgery.
